History[]

Youth []

Shamadconde was born in the city of Pandaemonium to a mage and a priestess named Terra and Randall.  As he grew to the age of 5, his parents taught him the ways of magic and life as an Asmodian commoner. His parents felt that they could better teach him if they were away from the aristocracy, so they moved to the countryside.

The family decided to take a vacation to Pandaemonium. They never made it. 15 years later the boy was found. The tale he told, when anyone got him to speak at all, was hair raising. He had been kidnapped by the Elyos Lepharist Revolutionaries and his parents butchered in front of his eyes. They held him in a secret base hidden in the Abyss. His back was carved with symbols reminiscent of Assassin Pattern Engravings. He was beaten to within an inch of his life and held without food or drink for long periods. He was finally rescued by an Asmodian raiding party and taken to the Lepharist construction base in Morheim, where he was thoroughly brainwashed into believing in the divinity of Lephar.

He served the master of the Asmodian Lepharists for many years. Whenever anyone asks him what he did for the master, he turns white as an Elyos and vomits. It all ended one fateful day when the apprentice went to his master's study to surprise him with a gift and discovered the truth. He was about to open the door when he heard things that shocked him to the bone. He was an experiment meant to take out the Shedim Lords with the symbols on his back and they wouldn't be displeased if he died with them. He was going to be trained to infiltrate Pandaemonium when he was forced to Ascend and utter the words that would activate the symbols on his back. With the addition of a specially prepared staff, they hoped he would be enough to cause the Shedim Lords to Vanish. As he listened, he realized that one of the voices was the Elyos that had carved his back and held him in such agony. He fled the compound in fear for his life and in a boiling rage at the betrayal.

Raiding[]

He journeyed to Ishalgen. He claims to no longer remember what he did on that journey but when asked about it, he gets a haunted look on his face. He eventually made it to Aldelle Village where he was nursed back to health by the guards under Ulgorn. When he regained his strength, he named himself Shamadconde and joined the raiders as a mage so he would never be so weak and helpless ever again. Over the next seven years he fought side by side with Ulgorn's Raiders and was triumphant over the Mau. He constantly sought ways to get rid of the carvings on his back. Every time he got them removed, they just reappeared a few days later. He despaired.

Ascension[]

As time went by, he heard rumors of increasing Lepharist attacks all over Asmodae. He worried they would attack Ishalgen, his home, and his friends. He went scouting out and found they had landed at Anturoon Crossing. He sent word back to Ulgorn and raiders were sent. They made a plan of attack and started slaughtering Lepharists. As Shamadconde was finished burning his target, he looked up and saw a face he hadn't seen in many years. It was his former master! And he saw the traitorous man had Ulgorn's daughter. She must have snuck out again and was caught. He charged in to save her and was thrown back. He called to his comrades and they came to his rescue. They managed to get the girl away and Shamadconde went in for the kill.

His master saw him coming and utterd the words that would save him from his former pupil. Shamadconde felt the symbols on his back getting hot. He knew this meant soon he would be dead so he threw himself at his master to take him out. As he jumped, a set of huge glossy black wings sprouted from his back. He was astonished. He landed on his former master and ripped out his throat.
Shamadconde has since gone through the ceremony to be a Daeva and couldn't be happier with it. He roams Asmodae, killing as many Lepharists as he can and plans to someday kill Lord Lephar himself. He also searches for the right group to help him kill as many Lepahrists as they can. He recognized the need to have help to wipe out the Lepharist Revolutionaries.
