The Child of Wild Endurations[]
Originally a feral kid living in the wild of Eyvinder Bay from Ishalgen among the karnif, this beast-turned-child now lives a happy and peaceful life alongside her Brigade General, Shiita Sicure of the Ravens Company. Despite her undauntingly happy attitude and outlook to life, her past is riddled with several occasions that would make most others cringe in hate and disgust.
Appearance[]
Tabbie is often described as a lean young girl who appears to be about the age of 15 or 16, with moonlight blue skin. Her cerulean blue hair is kept tightly wrapped with a pink bow in the fashion of karnif ears, but has been seen left loose coming a little past her shoulders. Her eyes are slightly elongated and her pupils are slightly larger than others, leading to the rumors about her having some sort of altered vision. Her beaming smile seems to cheer the most depressed of daeva, often leading to goofy antics that is said to be quite unbecoming of a 1st Centurion. Her features are petite, including claws that seem more for looks than actual hunting. They've been kept dulled since her ascension, a new habit she's picked up since then. Her oblong pupils resemble a feline's, surrounded with a deep and piercing crimson. Her wide eyes and young face is framed with blue locks of hair that tickle her shoulders from time to time. Her wieght makes her dependant on her heavy armor to maintain her footing when push comes to shove. Without her armor, she is able to climb most anyone without it being a total hassle. She often mounts people she likes and latches like a koala to a tree.
Personality and Motivation[]
Her creativity and wild imagination inspires her to come up with a fun scenario, and enjoys living out her thoughts and adventures. Her energy and straight-forwardness entertains those around her, and drives the group to act and REact. Sometimes...in a negative way. Her energy and clumsiness can sometimes lead to spastic situations, where she would injure herself (happens quite often) or force the group to select another person to lead. Since she was raised by the karnif in Eyvinder Bay, her displays of affection are rather "animalistic", to describe it passively. Licking people, biting, pawing.. all these are normal to her, as she has not been taught otherwise. She likes to cook, but often messes it up and ends up getting people sick. She also likes to collect things that are shiny, or reflective. Her picture-stones that collect aether at a point in place and time allows her to capture pictures, and loves to collect pictures of her friends as they smile and laugh.
History/Back Story[]
Tabitha was never born. She wasn't made. To her knowledge, she just came into existence. The stars must've not been in her favor that fateful night in Ishalgen, because when she woke she was encircled with the ravenous karnifs surrounding Eyvinder Bay. Their lips snarling... their ivory teeth gleaming in the moonlight, she felt for sure her short existence would end that moment. One lanky karnif stepped in from of the pack though, entering the circle that its peers surrounded and flashing its fangs in return. Tabitha shuffled backwards nervously after the crowd dispersed, thinking that karnif wanted her as its sole prey. As it loomed forward, pinning Tabbie down, it brought its face closer to her. Tabbie was careful not to stare into its eyes, flinched, and instead felt the warm rough tongue upon her cheeks. For whatever reason, this karnif chose to take Tabbie in as one of its own instead of devouring her.. From that day forth, the karnif (who Tabbie dubbed her mom, Carak) showed Tabbie how to survive in the wastelands of Ishalgen.. showing her everything from raiding the Mau settlements to finding the best past to eat from the nearby brax. As Tabbie became more and more in tune with her feral companions, she began to wonder how she had looked different from the rest of the karnifs. To her knowledge, she had been one of them and something must've upset them to cast her into that circle of prey in the beginning. She would hide and look upon the humans, traveling back and forth, eventually establishing a monument which they later posted with heavily armed guards. These guards would dispatch and slaughter many numbers of her own.. Her rage couldn't be controlled as she would disembowel every human she came across, in the spirit of pure vengeance that drove her pack against the humans. The Eyvinder pirates looked upon this and smiled. This was the answer to their hunt. One pirate approached Tabbie, unarmed in a sign of peace, and tried to converse with her. Tabbie couldn't understand her words, and snarled viscously instead. What she couldn't see were the few pirates sneaking behind her, ready to club her unconscious should negotiations fail. And it did. Tabbie leaped for the pirates throat, and was met with a sharp concussion and darkness in mid-leap...
She woke in the creaky wooden cell of a ship. She could smell the salty air. She was around the bay where she'd been discovered. Words echoed from behind a nearby door. She couldn't understand them, but her stomach had been growling a vicious hunger. She'd been out for a while. Long enough that her hunger would make her easily swayed. After all, she was a survivalist that had relied on pure instinct up until now. She just wanted something to eat... something to drink. The salt in the air played tricks with her mind.. When the pirates came in and offered her comfort for obedience, she played right into their hands.Years passed and after being taught mannerisms and humanity, the captian of the ship ordered her to lead an elite group of Eyvinder Pirates when he realized her potential of destruction. She came to realize the pirates were part of something called the Lepharist Revolution, with Lord Lephar spear-heading a movement against divine beings that were ignorant and reckless, pompously seeing themselves as a higher caste and abandoning the humans to their misery. And so... Tabbie had become a Lepharist Revolutionary. But before parting to her unit, she had sneaked a treasure from the hold of the ship, a Black Opal that shone with an obsidian beauty, and gifted it to her karnif protector---her mother Carak. She turned and as she walked towards the ship, she tied her azure hair in the fashion that resembled karnif ears. She vowed she would come back to Carak someday and protect her as Carak had once done for her. As a lepharist, Tabbie had commited many bloody atrocities against the divine beings known as daevas. More and more blood stained her hands. She coated her weapon with a toxin that removed memories of her appearance, given to her by Lord Lephar himself. And she used that weapon against her enemies, vanquishing foe left and right without any circulating rumors of her deviousness. But something stirred within her. Something strange. She had the makings of the very enemy of Lord Lephar. She was beginning to show signs of ascending to become a daeva herself! She panicked and tried to tell her superiors and reason with them, but it had been too late. Word was sent and an assassination order had been circulated. She was to die before becoming a daeva to prevent Lepharist secrets from being leaked.
She had become a victim of her own weapon, when she tripped and fell running with her spear in hand. She awoke in Pandemonium, knowing nothing about Lepharists. She had only known that she was brought up in the wild with karnifs, and her memories ended there. When she was approached by the sentinels of Pandemonium, a lone daeva stopped them, calming them down and instructing Tabbie to visit the High Priest for the Ceremony of Ascension. From there, she was brought to Vidar, who assigned Tabbie to a newer legion called the "Bloody Ravens". It was led by a stoic man, one of solitude who preferred to be precise and to-the-point. His name was Shiita, and the two would soon learn what mysteries Asmodae holds.
